The Solene melts a candle from above rather than burning it, so the scent releases evenly across the whole surface of the wax and the wick is never lit. Nothing is consumed by flame, which means a candle lasts several times longer than it would on a wick and the fragrance stays true from the first melt to the last. There is no smoke, no soot on the jar and no open flame in the room.
Mains compatibility: this item is built for a 220 to 240 V mains supply, as used in the UK, Europe and Australia. It is not suitable for a 110 to 120 V supply without a suitable step up transformer.
Light output and heat are controlled together on a stepless dimmer, so the same lamp works as a gentle bedside glow on its lowest setting and as a full strength warmer at the top of its range. A built in timer shuts the lamp off on its own after a set period, which removes the need to remember it before bed or before leaving the house.
The body is built from a solid wood base with an electroplated gold metal upright and arm, finished with a fluted amber crystal glass shade that throws a warm ribbed pattern across the surface it sits on. The bulb is a standard replaceable GU10 type, so the lamp keeps working long after the first one goes.
- Bulb: 50W GU10 halogen, included and replaceable
- Control: stepless dimmer plus built in shut off timer

- Voltage: 220V
- Certification: CE, CCC, UL, SAA, VDE, GS, FCC, RoHS, EMC, LVD, PSE, CQC
- Warranty: 3 years

Considered lighting and home pieces, chosen for how they live in a room rather than how they look in a catalogue.
Scent without a flame
A warm bulb melts the wax from above, so you get the scent of a candle with nothing burning and no black mark on the ceiling.
Set it and forget it
The timer shuts it off on its own and the dimmer sets how warm it runs, which is how you control the strength of the scent.
Looks like a lamp
Fluted glass on a slim base, so it sits on a console or a bedside table as a light rather than announcing itself as a gadget.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with any wax melt?
It is made for standard wax melts and jar candles that fit under the shade. Melting happens from the bulb above, so no wick is needed.
Can I replace the bulb?
Yes. It takes a standard 50W GU10 and one is included, so a dead bulb is a swap rather than a new lamp.
Does it turn itself off?
Yes. There is a built in timer that shuts it off after a set period, plus a stepless dimmer for heat and light together.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We ship free on every order to the UK, the United States and Australia, with no minimum spend. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and transit is 3–5 business days after dispatch, giving 4–7 business days in total.
Will I be able to track my order?
Yes. Tracking details are emailed as soon as your order ships, and you can follow delivery at any time on our Order Tracking page.
How long do I have to return something?
30 days from the day your order arrives. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. See our Refund Policy.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
No. There are no restocking fees, as long as the item is unused and returned in its original packaging.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Damaged, defective or incorrect items are free to return and we cover the return shipping. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after inspection.
