The Aero is woven entirely by hand from natural rattan, formed into a hot air balloon with an open lattice band around its middle and a small woven basket suspended beneath it on fine wires. The weave is left in its natural pale tone, so the piece reads as a crafted object rather than a moulded one, and the open sections let light pass through the structure instead of trapping it behind a solid shade.
It takes a standard E27 screw bulb, so the brightness, colour temperature and style of bulb are entirely yours to choose and replace from any shop. The frame combines rattan with a wrought iron internal structure, which holds the balloon shape taut over time rather than letting it sag. The hanging wire is 150cm and adjustable, so the drop can be set to suit a high ceiling or brought down low over a cot or a reading corner.
At 30cm tall and 22cm across, it is substantial enough to anchor a corner of a room without dominating it, and light enough in appearance to sit comfortably above furniture. The natural rattan works against plaster, paint and wood alike, which means it carries from a nursery into a child's bedroom and onward without looking outgrown.

Considered lighting and home pieces, chosen for how they live in a room rather than how they look in a catalogue.
Woven Entirely By Hand
Each balloon is shaped from natural rattan by hand, so the weave carries small variations that no moulded shade ever will. The frame underneath is wrought iron, which holds the shape taut rather than letting it sag over the years.
Light Through The Weave
The open lattice band around the middle lets light pass through the structure instead of trapping it behind a solid shade, so the room gets soft woven patterning rather than a single flat pool of light.
Hangs Where You Need It
The hanging wire is 150cm and adjustable, so the drop can be set high under a tall ceiling or brought down low over a cot or a reading corner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it come with a bulb?
No. The Aero takes a standard E27 screw bulb, which you choose yourself. That lets you set the brightness and warmth to suit the room, and replace it from any shop rather than waiting on a specialist part.
How low will it hang?
The hanging wire is 150cm and adjustable, so the drop can be set to suit your ceiling height and shortened at installation.
How big is it?
The balloon is 30cm tall and 22cm across, with the woven basket suspended below that. Large enough to read as a feature in the room without filling it.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We ship free on every order to the UK, the United States and Australia, with no minimum spend. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and transit is 3–5 business days after dispatch, giving 4–7 business days in total.
Will I be able to track my order?
Yes. Tracking details are emailed as soon as your order ships, and you can follow delivery at any time on our Order Tracking page.
How long do I have to return something?
30 days from the day your order arrives. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. See our Refund Policy.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
No. There are no restocking fees, as long as the item is unused and returned in its original packaging.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Damaged, defective or incorrect items are free to return and we cover the return shipping. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after inspection.
