Green glass is the detail that does the work here. A ribbed glass shade in deep bottle green sits inside a gold metal canopy, so the fitting reads as considered rather than functional, and the colour gives a ceiling something to look at even when the light is off. At 38cm across and 52cm tall it has enough presence to anchor a room without hanging low enough to be in the way.
It is a semi flush mount, which means it fixes close to the ceiling rather than dropping on a cord. That makes it usable in rooms a pendant would not suit: hallways, landings, bedrooms with standard ceiling heights, and anywhere a long drop would be caught by a door or a head. The metal canopy covers the fixing entirely, so there is no visible bracket.
One E27 socket takes a single 40W bulb or its LED equivalent, and the fitting is dimmable when wired to a dimmer switch. It is damp rated, so it is approved for bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces as well as dry rooms, and it runs on 110V to 240V, which covers UK mains without an adapter or a converter.

Can I put this in a bathroom?
Yes. It is damp rated, which covers bathrooms and covered outdoor areas such as a porch. Damp rated is not the same as wet rated, so it should not go directly inside a shower enclosure or anywhere it would be hit by running water.
What bulb does it take, and is one included?
One E27 screw fit bulb, up to 40W incandescent or the LED equivalent. The bulb is not included, so pick the warmth you want. A warm white LED suits the green glass best.
Is it dimmable, and how does it fit?
It is dimmable when wired to a compatible dimmer switch, which is not included. It is hardwired rather than plugged in, so it replaces an existing ceiling fitting. If you are not comfortable working with mains wiring, have an electrician fit it.
