The Savona is a machine woven area rug finished in a faded floral medallion, printed so the pattern reads as a vintage piece that has already seen a few decades of light. The palette stays in soft cream, chalk white and muted terracotta, which keeps it quiet against oak flooring and pale walls rather than fighting them for attention.
It is woven from 100 percent polyester in a low pile, so it sits flat under doors and dining chairs and does not shed. The low pile is also what makes it practical: spills sit on the surface long enough to be lifted rather than soaking straight into a deep tufted pile, and the rug can be spot cleaned or washed without the pattern lifting away with the dirt.
Both sizes are full room proportions. The 160 by 230 sits under a coffee table with the front legs of a sofa on it, or under a double bed with a margin either side. The 200 by 290 takes a full seating group or a dining table with the chairs pulled out and still has rug underneath them. It rolls and folds for storage and arrives creased from the fold, which drops out flat within a day or two.

Will it arrive creased from the fold?
Yes. It ships folded, so it arrives with fold lines across it. Lay it flat and weight the corners with furniture and the lines drop out on their own within a day or two. Do not iron it.
How do I actually wash it?
Spot clean with cold water and a mild detergent for everyday marks. For a full wash, cold water only and leave it to air dry flat. Do not tumble dry it and do not use bleach, both of which will take the colour out of the print.
Which size should I choose?
Measure the furniture, not the room. For a standard three seat sofa and coffee table, 160 by 230 puts the front legs on the rug. For a larger seating group, an L shaped sofa, or a dining table where the chairs need to stay on the rug when pulled out, go to 200 by 290.
