A tree collar does the job a tree skirt does, without the job a tree skirt does badly. A skirt is a flat piece of fabric that creeps, gathers and shows the stand through it. A collar is a rigid woven basket that sits around the base and hides the stand completely.
At 85cm across the bottom it is sized for a 6ft to 7ft tree. Most collars sold are 60cm, which looks correct in a product photo and undersized in a room, because the branches of a full tree overhang it entirely.
The off white wash keeps it neutral against the tree rather than competing with it. Natural rattan reads orange under warm lighting, which fights every other colour in the room at Christmas.

Will it fit around my tree stand?
The inner opening takes a standard three leg or four leg stand on a tree up to about seven foot. Measure the widest point of your stand first. If it is more than 55cm across, this will be tight.
Is it real rattan or plastic?
Real rattan cane, undyed. That means small variations in colour and weave between pieces, which is how natural cane behaves.
Can I use it for anything after Christmas?
Plenty of people use it as a cover for a large floor plant pot. It is a woven basket shape, not a Christmas shape.
