The Marlowe is cut from a wide wale ribbed corduroy in a soft cream. The raised cord holds its texture through repeated use rather than matting down the way a short pile fleece does, so the couch keeps its look after months on a living room floor.
A backrest runs the full length of the couch with low arms at each end, so a dog can lie along the cushion with its spine supported or curl into one of the corners. The cushion is deep enough that a medium dog, or a pair of cats, settles without bottoming out onto the base.
At 86cm wide the Marlowe reads as a small piece of furniture rather than a pet bed, and the cream colourway sits alongside neutral interiors instead of fighting them. The cover is removable when it needs cleaning.
