The Birdsong runs three shallow disc shades along an 80cm wooden bar, with moulded resin birds perched between them. The discs are very wide and very shallow, so the light spreads sideways across a table surface rather than pooling in a cone underneath, which is why a linear fitting of this shape works over a dining table where a single pendant leaves the ends dim.

The resin birds are not fixed. Each one slides and rotates along the bar, so the arrangement can be composed to suit the room and changed later without tools. That adjustability is the reason the fitting reads as a considered object rather than a mass produced novelty, and it means the same piece can face a kitchen island one way and a nursery changing area another.

Light comes from an integrated LED rated at around 54W, and the LED module is user replaceable rather than sealed, so the fitting is not disposable when the diode eventually fails. This version dims directly from a Triac phase cut wall dimmer and holds its warm colour temperature across the full dimming range, rather than shifting cold as it drops. The supplied wire is 150cm, which covers standard and raised ceilings.
